Responsibilities

What you'll do:

  • To deliver industrial consultancy services and implement government-funded R&D projects related to New Industrialisation (NI), Industry 4.0+ (i4.0+), Smartification, Smart Production Line and Low-altitude Economy(LAE) with the adoption of the latest i4.0 technologies such as digital lean, machine connectivity via IIoT, human machine interface (HMI) via dashboard virtualization, AI-based computer vision and image processing, etc.
  • To prepare the technical content and consultancy proposal for New Industrialsation Funding Scheme (NIFS) and New Industrialisation Accelerate Scheme (NIAS)
  • To deliver industrial consultancy and government project implementation on NI, i4.0+ enabling technology R&D, AI/Machine Learning, smart production line, industrial Metaverse, low-altitude economy related business.
  • Occasional travel to the Mainland and outside Hong Kong in a regular basis for project implementation is needed. 

Requirements

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor Degree/Master from engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial/System Engineering, Engineering, Data/Computer Science, or equivalent.

  • At least two years’ or more relevant experience in manufacturing operations, particularly in the technical area of digital manufacturing knowledge/solutions.

  • Solid experience on Industrial IoTs, sensor data acquisition, intelligent manufacturing, data analytics application scenarios, automation and robotics, industrial drone, metaverse technologies either 2-3 technical competence are definitely advantage.

  • Hands on experience on NIFS project implementation and development of digital manufacturing system and smart data analytics platform.

  • Strong commitment to KPIs, result oriented, self-initiated and able to work under pressure.

  • Candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of AI, or experience and ability to apply Generative AI tools in their work, will be preferred.

2. This is a fixed-term contract position for a period of 24 months.
