Description
As research, commercialization and AI continue to reshape life sciences, HKLSS offers a unique program that empowers emerging biotech talent to explore cutting-edge science, the latest technologies and the future of life sciences and biotechnology sectors.
Selected interns join partners and portfolio companies in Hong Kong, Shanghai or Shenzhen – spanning healthcare, bio-pharmaceutical companies, venture capitals, start-ups and non-profits healthcare – and engage with sector specialists through visits and workshops to discover diverse areer paths in biotechnology and life sciences.
Responsibilities
- Acquire practical skills that are applicable in the workplace
- Work with translational researchers and biotech professionals
- Gain hands-on exposure in one of these areas: R&D, business/product development, investment, project management or marketing communications
- Participate in the HKLSS-core program, including lab visits, study tours, conversations with C-suite executives, and networking activities
- Be given priority in enrolling in our Mentorship Scheme
Requirements
- Senior-year undergraduate and postgraduate students, aged 18 or above, with an academic qualification in life sciences, biomedical sciences, medicine, data science or business (with a science or tech focus)
- MRes, MPhil or PhD students will be prioritized for R&D positions
- Final-year students and fresh graduates are welcome
Additional Information
Duration: 7 weeks (Internship – 6 weeks)
