Description

Your marketplace insights and patient focus will shape and direct strategic marketing plans for the product lifecycle, ensure execution of the brand plan for long-term brand success and develop clear country value propositions for patients and healthcare professions.

As an Associate Brand Manager/ Brand Manager (Team of Ovarian and Prostate), you will play a pivotal role in channelling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives. You will be the brand owner responsible for brand planning and execution of Fasenra and Nexium. This position will report directly into the Business Unit Director and will work in close partnership with cross functional partners including Medical, Commercial Excellence and other functions in order to ensure we has a strong market presence.

Responsibilities

Your job responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

Market Insights and Clinical & Evidence Strategy

  • Build an oncology insights framework: patient flow, patient journey, genetic counseling pathway, MDT decision dynamics, and the insights differences between HA and Private sector.
  • Maintain agility in tracking disease-area conference updates (ASCO/ESMO/CSCO), driving strategy and content refresh
  • Translate clinical data and unmet needs into product value propositions and claims.

Product Strategy & Long Rang Financial Plan

  • Develop annual brand strategies and business execution plans (BP/BAP)
  • Define patient segmentation and indication strategies, conduct competitive landscaping, and craft clear value propositions and key messages.
  • Lead lifecycle management: launch readiness, indication expansion, and sequencing/combination strategies.

Market Access & Pricing

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop the market access strategy, set an evidence-based reimbursement price, and prepare government-required dossiers.

Program Management and KEE management

  • Lead programs (sponsored or AZ-initiated) with clear milestones, budgets, and risk plans.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory and company SOPs (Rx promotion boundaries, material review, data privacy), targeting first-pass approval and compliant delivery.

Requirements

Essential for the role

  • Education: Bachelor’s or higher in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Public Health, or Marketing, Pharmacy background preferred.
  • Experience: 3–5 years in pharmaceutical marketing; experience in multinational pharmaceutical companies is preferred.
  • Core Competencies: Data-driven, results-oriented, structured thinking, influence and communication, resilience and self-drive, high compliance integrity.
  • Language:  Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese

Desirable for the role

  • Experience across Sales and Marketing
  • Command of Mandarin is a plus
  • Depending on candidate experience, this position could be filled at the following levels: Associate Brand Manager or Brand Manager or Senior Brand Manager
