Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant I / II for innovative research projects in the theme of Advanced Medical Device Components based at the Hong Kong Science Park.
Responsibilities
- Driving research activities towards defined goals in specified timeline
- Identifying technology development opportunities to solve major problems in the healthcare sector
- Processing in data analysis and management
- Drafting reports and other publications
- Delivering high-quality presentations to collaborators and industrial partners
- Performing various laboratory administrative duties
- Supporting various Centre’s events & activities
- Handling other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor(s)
Requirements
- Field of Study: PhD degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Physics or related disciplines
- Preferably with research experience in electrocorticography, brain-computer interface, transistor fabrications, flexible electronics, sensors
- Fresh graduates with outstanding academic achievement and strong passion in applied research of biomedical instrumentation will also be considered
- Fluent in English in both writing and verbal communications; clear and concise writing skills
- Good time management with a strong sense of responsibility and research ethics
- Mature, self-motivated, confident and able to work under pressure
