Description
As our Associate Sales Manager/ Sales Manager (Rare Disease), you will attain pre-set sales and profit targets for our Rare Disease products through the effective management and leadership of the sales team, build strong relationships with both Specialists, to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide inspirational leadership and strategic direction to a team of sales force
- Conduct effective coaching and mentoring sales force to maximize their potential to ensure high performance
- Develop and implement strategic business plan for both HA & Private sectors by conducting territory/ market data analysis
- Monitor progress towards sales objectives, promotional program effectiveness and competitor activity
- Develop and maintain key internal/ external customer relationships
- Drive and provide clear direction to sales force in facilitating drug enlistment, reimbursement, and protocol change
- Ensuring a clear and precise messaging on drug value proposition can be delivered to external key stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner by sales force
Requirements
Essential for the role
- University graduate in any discipline
- 5-8 years sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry ideally with people management experience
- Sales experience in Hematology, Nephrology, Neurology, and Pediatrics portfolio
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong goal-orientation, highly self-motivated, meticulous, able to work under pressure
Desirable for the role
- Min. 5 years of excellent track record in sales achievement
- Innovative and able to develop effective relationships and networks
