Description

This is a 1-year, entry-level position within Medical Affairs, providing scientific and medical support to the Medical Affairs Team. The successful candidate will participate in structured rotations across multiple therapeutic areas, gaining comprehensive exposure to scientific and clinical knowledge while contributing to a diverse range of Medical Affairs initiatives.

In this role, you will support the Medical Affairs team by engaging with healthcare professionals, contributing to cross-functional projects, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Field Engagement

  • Spend around 70% of your time in the field, meeting healthcare professionals such as specialists and other providers.
  • Build scientific relationships with key stakeholders through face-to-face interactions.
  • Collect and share insights from external experts to support business and medical strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Support
  • Share emerging medical and scientific data with local stakeholders.
  • Help strengthen relationships with external experts through scientific discussions.
  • Review medical materials to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in planning and carrying out medical activities and projects.
  • Respond to medical information requests in a timely and accurate manner.

Compliance

  • Follow company Codes of Conduct, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and all relevant local regulations.

Requirements

Essential for the role

  • University graduate in science or related discipline
  • Possess a high ethical standard
  • Excellent in both written and spoken Cantonese AND English
  • Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills

Desirable for the role

  • Possess PhD / MD / PharmD, or master’s degree in related discipline
  • Conversable Mandarin
  • Possess knowledge of the HKAPI Code of Practices
  • Knowledge of good clinical practice
  • Sound computer skills
