Lee's Pharm Holdings Limited ("Lee's Pharm" or the Group) is a research-driven, market-oriented biopharmaceutical company with 30 years of experience in the Chinese pharmaceutical industry. The Group was established in 1994 and its main business is concentrated on independent research and development, production and sales of biological drug products, with products focusing on the fields of cardiovascular and infectious diseases. During the 1990s, the Group developed three technology platforms: 1) snake venom technology platform, 2) low molecular weight heparin technology platform and 3) hydrogel delivery system technology platform, and built a GMP-compliant production workshop in Hefei, Anhui Province for the mass production of 1) injectable APIs and injectable lyophilized powders and 2) gels. Since its listing on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2002, the Group's business scope has continued to expand. During the 2000s, the Group cooperated with pharmaceutical companies in Europe and the United States to launch products in the mainland market and expanded its business to the treatment of diseases such as pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, rare diseases, dermatology, urology, oncology and ophthalmology. After being listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2010, the Group continued to expand its business scope. Since 2010, the Group has expanded its production equipment for topical gels, lyophilized powder for injection, small-volume parenteral solutions and ophthalmic gels in Hefei, and has produced drug-device combination inhalation preparations, solid preparations and ophthalmic products in Guangzhou, achieving full coverage of drug dosage form research and development and production. The Group is fully integrated and has a solid foundation in drug development, clinical development, regulation, manufacturing, sales and marketing. The Group has established extensive cooperative relationships with nearly 30 international companies and is currently promoting more than 25 patented, generic and imported pharmaceutical products in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. Lee's Pharma is committed to multiple important disease areas such as cardiovascular, women's health, pediatrics, rare diseases, oncology, dermatology and obstetrics. Through internal research and development and collaboration with multiple US, European and Japanese companies on development, commercialization and production rights, it currently has more than 40 products in different stages of development.
